November 2025

Great to see that up in Holly Springs. I just had a second round come through, this one a true snow shower. What a day.

Managed around 1.5 inches today with probably 2.5 falling. I just couldn't get more than that on the ground at once. It happened when back to back squalls like the one Fountainguy posted above hit around 5 minutes apart. Still light snow and possibly more squalls. More impressively, the temps held in the 20s all day and I was at 24 at one point in a squall, which would drop temps 3 or 4 degrees each time they crossed.

This wind is crazy.

Down to 40 from 49 earlier today.

I have no clue how I went outside earlier this year in just a double sweatshirt (no coat) with it being mid 20's just after it snowed.

Warm soil temps and sun angle (although the sun angle is equivalent to basically early February, it's just any snowfall during mid-day gets hit by the sun even during the depths of winter), ya hate to see it. 😜 Amazing stuff for early November, regardless!

I lived in WV for a few years when I was a child and we'd get a lot of these kinds of snow shower systems where we'd probably pick up 2" of snow during the day from convective snow showers, but we'd never really get more than a coating on the ground since the rates would be on and off and the snow would melt in between squalls, despite the temperature often being below freezing. They're fun but they do get old after a while, seeing all that "wasted" snow. :D

High of 44 and it's 33 now. Seems early, and I like it! The wind seems excessive, but it's wringing out flurries, so I guess it's good on the whole :)

Managed to get a few good snow showers/squalls in north Fulton. One of them had quite a bit of wind and put blowing snow in the roads briefly. 7A052836-1622-4155-A51E-72EE5DA77062.jpeg
