Got to 66 here, down to 61. Winds are really picking up. NW at 15 mph. Steady dropping
Just had to squirt past this thing, never went under 68 mph, felt like an action movie

Weve had so many freezes now no more freeze warnings

I sense another frost/freeze fail is on it's way here...after hovering in the upper 40s all afternoon we have only dropped to 45 so far this evening. Overcast skies with hundreds of miles worth of overcast skies upstream. May have to wait until tomorrow night to get our 1st freeze of the season here.

Yeah it is, two of my cousins live here. We started doing thanksgiving with this side of my family after my passed from cancer early last year.

31 sneaky freeze
I'm below freezing this morning. RDU was at 34 at last check. Still waiting for them to get the freeze. If not this morning, then they should tonight. Can't have our first (official) freeze in December.

33.8 here so we will most likely tie latest first freeze tonight which is Nov 30th. Also still no real frost have not seen a widespread yet just very patchy frost.

Smoked the Turkey yesterday. It was better, more juicer than any oven or deep fried we've done. Passing along. Ill be doing it this way from now on. Another bennefit is it doesnt tie up oven. Its a truly early bird lol if your serving it at lunchtime. I dont mind,but some may not like the early rise out of bed , to get it done.

37.4! It was a struggle all night, but finally got below 38...small victories. Up to 42.5 now. Feels good outside.
Had very infrequent tiny flakes most of the time tree shopping in Linville falls today!
Finally got our first freeze of the season! A Thanksgiving miracle!!!
So November 29 I guess? Prior record latest freeze was November 28, I think?

Still some frost in the shade about an hour ago despite full sun... Crazy
Looks like it will stay in the 40s today. It was finally cold enough to do some chainsaw work.

Down to 28 this morning. Heavy frost, brisk beautiful day. Topped out at 49. Now on to some eating and foozeball and family!
