Impressive blocking signature around AK/NW Canada on the D10 Euro. GFS and CMC agree as well. Should be quite the chilly period on tap, with somewhat of a split flow.
After that, at least on the 6z GFS op, the pattern retrogrades, but impressive cold air should continue to build up in Canada and across the northern US, if the model has the general pattern correct.

28 was actually the bottom at just past midnight, but we had over 10 hours below freezing and went up slightly from that point on.

I bottomed out at 29.7F just after midnight, but then the wind shifted to the northeast and there was a ton of warmer air surrounding lake Lanier. I was up to 33F by morning.
