36.7 now and I think we're starting to get closer to seeing something. Lighter precip now but looks like there might be a sleet pellet in there every once in awhile.

Ended up with a half to 3 quarters of an inch last night. Unfortunately once the heavy precipitation stopped temps went up to 35 and sat there until more precipitation developed mid morning. It’s been snowing hard and steady since 10AM but temp is at 32.9 so not below freezing yet. Still this was more snow then expected as forecast was for a dusting at most and I’ve definitely got at least an inch between last night and today.
Edit: I forgot to mention last nights snowfall melted by sunrise before more accumulating took place toda.

Down to 39 here after my initial rainshower. Not sure if any more moisture will make it down this way or not.
I just drove from Roswell to Acworth and there were a few flakes mixing in around Sweat Mountain.
Once the sun goes down here and those mid to low twenties start kicking in then it’s gonna just stack!

I figured. It was during one of the heavier showers.
I’ve definitely noticed a change in the temperature since the time I left for work around 8 and got off early around 1:30. It was 43 then and it’s 39 now. Radar looking pretty good back north and west. I’m curious to see how of that can actually make it’s way down my way. I’ve only seen light rain/sprinkles so far.
It's been a pleasant afternoon of pretty flurries and 36 F here in Huntsville.
Just had a snow shower with some nice flakes lasted about 5 minutes and now back to sleet and rain so it definitely will be flying longer before too long here in Canton Georgia?

with 4-8 inches across the winter storm warning. The HREF along
with other guidance continues to paint 6-12 inches across the
highest peaks, above 5000 feet. Precipitation will quickly end
from west to east overnight and by 12Z Tuesday expect only the
higher elevations to see remaining snow.

It's weird seeing temps so uniform. It's in the 30s in Georgia and Michigan ! Really there's not a lot of cold air in the lower 48 for this time of year but somehow what little cold there is is managing to make it far south !
Starting to see some snow returns between Cedartown and Buchanan.

Each HRRR run just keeps getting better and better. I may have to get in the hot tub and sip some bourbon tonight.
