I just have to take a moment here, I know I don't post much, but the weirdness of seeing it snow outside without having yet had a freeze this season...what a year this has been.

Temp is really crashing now too, down from 36 to 34.8F in the ten minutes I've been home.

Driving from Jasper, GA down to Woodstock (south of Canton) went from light snow and 35 on truck thermomter to 37 with light rain, and then in Woodstock light snow mixing in. With heavier rates, snow was more prevalent. With lighter rates, more rain. Still nothing major, but at least this winter will not be a shut-out around here. Will return to Jasper in a few hours and see what is going on then.

snow band (yes, you read that correctly) that has developed off of
Wheeler Lake.
