I do believe it’s snowing the hardest of the day. Probably close to 7”. I have a feeling that the ull will keep snow in the air for several more hours, but only accumulate a half to one inch once the lull starts in about an hour. 8” is doable I think.

Also get ready for some very cold temps. l was forecasted for a high of 32 today and right now l am at 20. You may not come out of the teens tomorrow.

31 and rates start to slowly increase to moderate again.... 2" so far. WSW extended til 1:00 am for an additional 2-4

Chatham County has about 6 + inches, and it would have been a LOT more if the temperatures were at 32 or less. Most of our snow fell at 34, then 33 degrees.

It just changed over to snow within last 15 minutes at Campbell.... that line took it's sweet time moving east

You and me hit the right lotto numbers on this one. I've been in some whoppers , but this one has been a 10 on the enjoyable scale. Even shut the hwy down 74/220.
I agree it's snowing hardest the past hour as it has all day and that's saying something.

Still blowing snow reported all around Atlanta, temps range from 17 to 21, KATL will likely set a record low hi today...This snow is just like fine talcum power the kind you get way up North very unusual for the SE..

I got deceived when the snow melted off the road in front of my house and ventured out. Bad idea. The roads are a solid snowpack any where there isn’t direct sun. Even in a Jeep Wrangler I was sliding around. Here’s Ashford Dunwoody Rd at Johnson Ferry Rd an hour ago.

Wow! I’m glad I decided to stay put. Northside was under a code white today - thank goodness I’m nonessential personnel. Very dicey spots around my house.
