14z HRRR has this starting as rain in Atlanta at 5 pm. That's advanced by about 4 hours.
Like packfan said rgem coming in nicr.!! Still snowing at this frame

Totals really chopped in TN and MS and N AL (Maybe due to it snowing already) and way up in S AL and GA. So far this run.

IMPASSABLE TRAVEL ADVISORY: Efffective 1/16/18 all roads and bridges in Colbert County should be considered IMPASSABLE until further notice. Members of the general public are advised that when roads and bridges become IMPASSABLE all travel should be suspended or delayed.
Yes it was supposed to fall apart. But it has been doing just fine.

I really think the axis of heaviest snow could match this image from the RGEM where it's showing the heaviest returns. Just west of the Triangle.
I post just not as much as others but it sure does look promising now for SE TN and & Chattanooga to Dayton/Cleveland per the trends and observations to our west. It looks to begin snowing here by 12PM. & And snow off and on through 6PM. Im so ready! LET IT SNOW!
