Overproducing doesn't have to be 3-4 more inches then expected if you thought you where to get half a inch and end up with a 1 inch and half and these temps that's overproducing that cause serious problems...like 2014 getting kinda of worrisome
Hey I'm new to this what does this map mean ?
It's a ratio of liquid to snow map.Hey I'm new to this what does this map mean ?
So the snow starts about the same time radar indicates. Good sign!Moderate snow here now.
I just can't get over how runs of the snow maps have shown that donut hole over north east ga.
Riding in your car, looking out the window, and seeing cumulonimbus clouds will make you think its summertime, then you get under it and the snow is intense. I've been fortunate to experience that a couple of times, nothing else compares to it.With the sun out why I mentioned if second line develops it may be in convective form

Ok thanks I'm still learningIt's a ratio of liquid to snow map.
It's usually over Wake Co..I just can't get over how runs of the snow maps have shown that donut hole over north east ga.
IF we get a convective line, that would definitely add more onto the snow totals. I had a few individual convective snow showers here before that had around to over an inch an hour rates. Only got 0.25 out of one, but it was extremely intense. Only thing comparable was December's storm. Pretty sure it has happened here more, but I was likely asleep or can't remember. If I get a good heavy snow here, even for an hour, I'll call it a win.Riding in your car, looking out the window, and seeing cumulonimbus clouds will make you think its summertime, then you get under it and the snow is intense.
