Really nice, summer like setups coming up this week on top of sunday, some packets of energy aloft at H5 with moderate instability each day with dry air aloft/ T-D spreads in the afternoon. Including some left over H5 energy from plains convection, moving east and arriving during peak heating, really good setups for multicell clusters/loosely organized MCSs, especially that Wednesday look. Gonna probably accumulate some damaging wind reports this week

Could really use this rain the GFS is showing next week. OKC has only had a little over 5 inches of rain for the year so far. Drought conditions are even worse west of here, so this would be even better for them.92338EA2-6151-4F34-84BE-D1EC8C41C5C4.png

Haven't seen a pattern this active in a long time hopefully we can continue to eat away at the drought before summer sets inView attachment 117898
Same here! Just storm after storm on the models!! Great for farmers, if they can ever get a break!

Nice lil pop up shower just passed through Spartanburg. Summer back

Forecast said "rain likely" 60% chance ...... never saw a drop of rain or even any cloud that looked like to could produce. That was a big bust here.

Had a thunderstorm or two here on the southeast side of Durham but nothing too crazy.

the Tar river in Greenville has switched from regular flow to tidal fluctuations. Usually only see this when the water is really low and flow is slow.

Way too hot for early May, this is more like Mid June averages. Looking forward to the little cool off this weekend. Still above average but closer to where it should be.

It got down to 55 here this morning and up to 84/66 now. Glad I went for a run at 630 when it was cooler. Seeing a storm pop to my southwest, might make it up here.

Good. We’re drying out real quick.

It looked like you guys got a storm up that way this evening. I'm not holding my breath for any rain, these ridges seems to last weeks to months and act like a force field. We will know by Wednesday or Thursday whether this next front has a chance.

It died out at my doorstep so I don't think we even got a sprinkle. I poked around the garden and we still have a lot of soil moisture but I will need some real rain to make most of the seed sprout.

Lone storm popped up lastnight around 930 and dropped some 1 inch hail down towards New Bern. Bet that surprised some people.

This mornings models have booted that cutoff further east, we are really close to scorching, look how much the gefs has warmed for ex
