The atmosphere is very juicy tonight. It's raining at a light to sometimes solid clip again (for about 20-30 mins now) with there being light returns on the radar here.

The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
Southern St. Johns County in northeastern Florida...

* Until 1015 AM EDT

* At 946 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Federal Point, or near Hastings, moving northeast
at 35 mph. The rotation has weakened slightly...but could quickly
reintensify. A tornado could form at any time.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
Saint Augustine Shores around 1010 AM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Elkton
and Bakersville.

There should be enough instability, if anything the concern is that the convective mode will be too messy to be conducive to tornadoes, but as we saw yesterday that doesnt negate them either
 
New tornado watch just went up for northern GA, northern SC, and southwestern NC, including Atlanta, Greenville-Spartanburg, and Charlotte.
