Always are, Phil. I talked to people today that were blase about it. The lack of certainty is what kills people...they don't get serious until it's too late. It's amazing what some wind can do. I'm reminded of all those people stuck out on the interstate in Atl in the deep winter because some wind froze down an inch or two of snow :)

Just take one look at those cloud tops surrounding the eye and how cold they are now getting as it closes in on Cuba... is Irma completing an erc or starting another one?
I guess the outer eyewall finally taking over and choking off the inner, looks like it's getting ready to be a huge eye once that constricts oh boy
