I was just telling my son that the frying pan tower would have been a wild ride Friday morning. We climb it every year. Cant imagine what those conditions must have been like

Definitely not sticking up for them, but didn’t they local NWS warn people about the flooding potential?

In the 24 hours prior, but they also saw the same sub set of data but wouldn't go against the NHC until it was too late for people to really do anything even if the message got to them. The message that got out was "its going west".
