We will look into upgrading space and the server to lightspeed likely. Experimentation!
 
Maybe after finally getting a Historic Hurricane after many quiet years the Southeast can get an Historic Winter Storm this coming Winter Season. Now to continue with Harvey coverage.

Western eye wall looks to be the strongest! Guess it's a squeeze play with land? NE quadrant is usually the strongest part, correct?
 
Does anyone know if chasers/mets/scientists attempt to place instruments out in front of oncoming hurricanes at the last minute? It's so hard to get accurate ground readings from monster storms like this.
 
You can start to see the eastern most part of the barrier island just ne of rockport coming into the clearing of the eye..... this thing is just a few miles from official landfall
 
wow that recon was unscheduled... but yeah they better hurry. Probably trying to get a fix for the 10pm advisory
