Pretty much the same at hr 42. The pressure is down to 934 this run though...
Now it's down to 930.

I was just reading up on Hugo. It was just a Cat2 the morning on its approach into Charleston. It crossed the Gulf Stream and became a Cat4 before it hit. Dont underestimate the power of the Gulf Stream! I’m sorry for the Hugo reference but I just wanted to share that little (tropical) tidbit
GFS shows Florence completely stopping off the coast of North Carolina at hour 78.

Microwave shows some strange things going on with Florence. Looks like either a lot of dry air or some additional structural changes are ongoing.

Looks like the NC/SC line or maybe even Myrtle to me. Of course, can't see much on those maps. Will have to wait till the points come out to see for sure.
