Thing is the models going west and SW tonight were all the eastern most outliers and this brings them inline closer to the official track

The three models so far that we’ve seen were Eastern outliers. I would expect the others like HWRF, Hmon, and Euro/UK to more or less hold serve with only a small shift here or there.

That is if the new GFS and Euro and it’s ensembles hold serve and don’t tick south.
It's crawling up the coast..... bye bye OBX if that verified.

Euro nudging east(so far) GFS nudging west... yeah, bet we see better agreement
in b4 the Euro goes west

Poor GFS is going to need that lighthouse to find its way. It’s as lost as a termite in a yo-yo.
Doesn't make land fall looks like it stalls just South of Portsmouth Island
It's amazing how quickly it puts on the brakes because up thru 48 hours it's screaming towards the coast and then hits a wall

Crude UK maps looks like over ILM at 72 then over Raleigh at 96 then just east of CLT at 120.

Sounds like Flo missed her turn.
I climbed the lighthouse in July. Terrifying. I just imagined myself at the top of it with Florence bearing down on me and I almost passed out. In all seriousness though, Florence would do some serious rearranging to the sandbar they refer to as OBX

I think someone at a toddlers birthday party would have a better shot at pinpointing landfall during pin the tail on the donkey than the GFS right now.

CMC is clueless and about as bad as the GFS with Florence.
