Exactly what I said yesterday I think...heavy precip going to make it hard to get accretion as well as bring down warm temps aloft. This may be something the whole state has to worry about except the NW corner. JMOHeavy precipitation will most likely hurt even more if you want ice in BHM.
James Spann doubles down and says no winter weather for Birmingham. Only issues will be black ice.
Yeah he reposted the NWS Birmingham map that showed nothing in terms of accumulating ice for Birmingham, and then NWS B'ham just expanded the area of accumulating ice further east. Spann won't like that.James Spann doubles down and says no winter weather for Birmingham. Only issues will be black ice.
Hmm, they just now posted it on their social media accounts. Weird. Anyway, they're still sticking with it at this point.Looks like that map was done at 4:58 AM this morning.

pull your windshield wipers up. IT will help once you thaw out. I learned the hard way in temps that cold in Wyoming.A little walk before the near blizzard hits will be interesting to compare later the pavement looks better than the grass lol
If he doesn't believe it then why did he show it ?Brad Travis just showed a model getting to 41 in Huntsville tomorrow. Don’t believe that. Neither does he
