The SE snowshield is performing well.
The SE ridge has lost every time this winter. Does it win here? Maybe. But it’s far from certain given it’s track record.
I assume the UKIE includes sleet and frz rain in this map, correct?
I doubt freezing rain is in it, but sleet probably is. I'm not sure though.I assume the UKIE includes sleet and frz rain in this map, correct?
And some on here is happy to dodge a ice storm.

I've lived through two ice storms. 94 and 98. I was without power for a month in 94, and two weeks in 98.100% Don't need trees falling down on houses.
Honestly. Seeing 35 and rain is just as bad as seeing 30 and rainAnd some on here is happy to dodge a ice storm.

Some people has no common sense whatsoever! You got that right! Amazing anyone would compare the two.
I totally agree with y'all. I don't know why people would rather see 30 and rain as opposed to 33 and rainYou got that right! Amazing anyone would compare the two.

No, ice is deadly and devastating. Give me 35 and rain anyday over that.30 and rain is a lot more fun then 35 and rain. You will not have ice at 35 and rain 30 and rain is icy beautiful and fun. The two have no comparison

Some of the runs were showing this yesterday which isn’t coming close to verifying. Many folks much smarter than I have argued that the models seem to struggle with the PV. But we’ve now had near agreement and fairly consistent runs across most modeling for 48 hours or so. How can we prove they are struggling?

GGEM looks even better. Should I start a thread???The 12z GFS says we may be able to get a light freeze/frost by day 9.

That would be impressive Brent. My coldest high ever living here was 13 or so degrees which has happened a couple of times. Funny thing is it’s been a few years now since I’ve even gotten a low of 13 or colder.I never thought I'd see this forecast living in Texas lol ? modernweeniemodernweenie I'm starting to seriously wonder if we can go below zero now
