July Surprise!

I’ve been out retrofitting an Intex pool with a Hayward skimmer, 100 lb sand filter, and a 1/2 HP pump for my aunt. Was out there three hours and I had to get in my truck and come back home. Got sick to my stomach. I’m also converting her chlorine out to a salt water system. This is day two. Yesterday was scooping out stuff and filling with water. I got five buckets of pollywogs out and took them to the creek.

GFS going off the rails with the heat In the long range. I really hope we don’t get this.View attachment 43573View attachment 43574

Luckily the 106 and 110 from the 6z is gone on the 12z. Still showing lower 100s but likely well overdone. Unfortunately, the 6z had a nice cool down following the heat and that is now totally gone on the 12z.

0.03" in eastern Chatham over the past 11 days. Grass is medium well along the road shoulders.

Is no one going to acknowledge that it’s the GFS and is right about as often as my wife says I am when we argue?

I Felt that
Yes sir 2.1 in June and whiffed in every direction again today. I refuse to believe its just bad luck. It has to be a meteorological explanation for this. I deal with it every year. It's been active across the Carolina's this summer and yet my numbers are on par with dry summers.

Another day more storms south of Charlotte while north Charlotte gets shafted

That's how it's been for me the last 2 weeks. Watched the towers start today only to have it mature south of me by 5 to 10 miles.
