I woke up crack of dawn and went to beat the heat. I was done hiking by 11 and beat the noon sun. You ever been there at night ? Can you see the Milky Way, exceptionally dark skies ?

Have not been there at night but I'd guess yes very dark skies..... I don't have to go anywhere for those dark skies, I live in the country, see it every night

Ironically same thing happened to my house today. I actually saw where the rain stopped as I drove home from work. Half a mile or less away it stopped. Just blew up to the south, wrapped around, and went away.
We'll definitely need it come winter!
