I love the evolution on the cmc with the phasing of the first storm with that far northern piece. Sets us up for a cold and south track with the next one, (assuming it can dig and amplify enough to generate precip). Basically the opposite of the GFS right now.

Obviously it is wrong. Never seen a hybrid anafrontal system/millerA/overrunning before. It will trend in one of those three directions. I’m pulling for overrunning to get more of everybody involved.

100% let it dig. We need some way far south snow.. NC/VA is the mid Atlantic, southeast is NW GA/upstate down through middle GA-middle SC. Let’s make it happen

The UK MET was essentially a frontal passage associated with System #1. It did look to be setting up pretty good for system #2.

been seeing a lot of high pressure trying to work itself into the pattern before hour 300 the last several days. And they all look like low level cold setups. There was another one of these setups at 12z. So add it to the tally

I’ll be in Gatlinburg and it looks like we’ll be taking the truck for the 4 wheel drive.
