temp down to 37.7/34 - rain, definite mix with higher rates
I was just wondering because it seems as if Tim Buckley is snowing the RAP.Hrrr
Definitely the regular-- is going live .... does he go bullish or ... the regular ? ?
That would be very nice, but I think that heavier area is way east of that depiction based on the HRRR.
For reference,Honest question. Which model is more reliable. HRRR or RAP?
The 3km NAM has been fairly consistent today with higher amounts along the 74 corridor and what Webb showed today makes sense why. Deform bands from coastal lows in that location tend to do well here.If the nam is good, I might have to change my map, thing has went from a GSO-RDU to a CLT-FAY type thing
Yeah I moved some post, next time I'll just deleteStop the bickering
Got it. I’m probably just frustrated I made this trip in hopes for an accurately played out forecast. I will digress for a bit and go stoke the fire. At least we will get some good ole’ Joey’s Pancakes out of the trip!Stop the bickering
Had heavy snow for a short time, now light snow near HuntsvilleAlabama folks where you at? It’s ripping fatties in the Shoals area
Convection offshore bombs precip inland dies. Not sure if I buy thatNew 3k nam went dry for the initial push of precip.
I do think you will do well up your way. Of course if I end up getting the Union County screw zone again, I’ll just load the kids up and head to my parents place in Concord...Even the Euro is trying to pick up on the CLT to FAY event. That little blue blob south of Union County. I think @Webberweather53 was right. @Myfrotho704_ I think for once in our lives, we are sitting exactly where we want to. Fingers crossed!

You think any of that will actually accumulate after all the rain

Back end looks drier that's why. If nothing comes in this next band of precip I'd call it over.Hi-res models have completely shut out most if not all of north Ga
So we have a small chance HABack end looks drier that's why. If nothing comes in this next band of precip I'd call it over.

He is captain of the failboat . He goes down with it like an admirable captain! Also looking at the radar the frozen precip seems to be south of 85 in the upstate .Poor Jimmy ?
