I remember Jan 28-29 2014 we were supposed to be mostly snow here in FAY, then warm nose kicked in and we got sleet in the middle of the storm then had to wait on an eroding warm nose on the back end of the storm to flip back to snow, usually takes longer than you or the models think.

Another thing I'm taking note of is the area of upper temperatures crashing now in SW GA near La Grange. These temps are almost at freezing at 850 now and if a heavy enough pocket moves up here we could see a brief break through like the HRRR is showing in the heaviest of pockets.
