Yeah, this skips over MBY but hopefully a late blooming band develops and atleast some areas get snow tonight.

i was wondering what was going on with those. I’m not familiar with how terrain effects precip movement, just found it odd that it was moving NW off the mtns

It’s is Maggie....our drive was salted, brined, and shoveled this morning by the property owner. I think the roads are white. We are about to venture out I believe.

It's close for us this evening and should be fun/painful to watch. Gotta like the band of fgen extending back over us this evening but we are going to be waiting for enough caa to flip

Do keep in mind that Maggie Valley is in a good upslope spot with a NW wind, especially on the west side where the flow comes through the gap

Thats the way it did up here at work for an hour or so. But now its Heavy Snow for past 10 mins or so

Latest HRRR does push the late day band a little bit northward allowing almost all of Wake to get some accumulations. That little spot (of less than 1") on the north end of the county is me.

Thought we didn't have much of anything this morning, until I just looked outside and noticed some sleet/snow is the roof valleys of the neighbors' houses. Did have the smallest amount of slush on my grill this morning around 7.
