I said it last January and I'll say it again in this case. If the Euro is correct with the surface low, there will be a shaft zone to the NW where the energy transfers. You can see that starting to happen on this run above.

Pretty encouraging runs so far, let’s see if the GFS can keep things going in the right direction.

Yep, sorry if it sounds too imby but I’m rooting for a surface low to develop cause I’m not sure the clipper alone will get it done.

GFS continues with less precip, also shaft the northern areas pretty bad.

Interesting that GFS seems to be trending south with the snow. Now south Louisiana looks to get in on some action too.

wow, you believe this model and not the others...lol
Is that coastal storm having a effect ? Seems as if its trying to interact a little bit at the clipper type system, cmc looks like It might be dogsh*t btw

No but I've lived here 45 years and I have seen this happen over and over again.
Well fv3 has trended better for north/central Alabama at 84 hours from what I can see on noaa website.
Coastal seems to be doing something to affect the clipper by my untrained eyes 
No doubt history is on the drying up closer to the event side
