I wish the Canadian didn’t do so poorly with the last storm smh

Yep. This is screaming big dog if the ens keep ticking up tonight an 12z tommorow along with the euro family. The ukie and Icon even side on this flavor, more than past couple runs of GFS. I think gfs just in its day 4-7 fog bowl, like always. It took a big step towards other guidance this afternoon.
It would be a natural disaster for the south. Catastrophic. What the cmc just showed would be the biggest winter storm in American history
CMC was the first to show a ZR threat for the last system...That was a wild Canadian run. I know it may have missed to some extent last storm, especially being too cold, but here in Tennessee it actually smoked the GFS regarding storm track/qpf etc. It was in the same camp as the Euro from around D5 in.
I say again - God if you’re listening View attachment 163587
It, the ICON, Euro and Euro AI and eventually the RGEM were almost spot on here. The Euro was a little bit light in the QPF among those. The entire American suite did poorly here, NAM nest, HRRR and GFS.CMC was the first to show a ZR threat for the last system...
Absolutely. AL, GA and MS would entirely grind to a halt. That CMC run is absolutely legendary. I don’t know if that storm would have an equal. It would be a natural disaster for the south. Catastrophic.
Yes, for the Carolinas I agree. This had possibly another 18-24 hours to go for NC.UK legit would be the EURO from a few days ago twin
To add icing to the cake here, winds gusting 20-30 mph along the Gulf Coast and into southern GA with half an inch of accumulated ice would be quite damaging i would imagine.Absolutely. This is the coldest winter storm output I’ve ever seen from the UK. Simply unbelievable computage being computerized View attachment 163616
Yea, the Ukie is allergic to showing snow in the long range. This is one of the biggest signs we have something here. This is the coldest winter storm output I’ve ever seen from the UK. Simply unbelievable computage being computerized View attachment 163616
Check the Canadian. It's actually hard to believe what we're seeing. They don't make them like this anymore. I can't even imagine this could actually happen. But man, this air mass is frigid. What in the world? The GFS and Euro have been cold during the precip, upper teens and low 20s, this cold airmass is legit
