Wintry January 21-23 2025

And it's done here. Nice little event. I estimated about 1.5 inches or so. Takes about 2 or so inches to completely cover my backyard in snow and it's not quite there. Anyways, here's a couple of photos and video after the snowfall. Rare to get two accumulating events in such a short timespan so I'm very very happy with this winter so far. 5.7 inches total give or take for the winter. Good luck with the rest of you guys and enjoy your snow!

Im antsy as well. Here in west Columbia I barely have a dusting if even that much. Been snowing since about 3 but it’s more of a misting snow rather than flakes

22f dew point 5 humidity 47% with just a few light flurries occasionally. No accumulation or dusting here. Just too east, and weak system and too dry. Too much suppression from the cold even if it did tick a little to the n/w in expanse of precipitation very late. Congrats to you guys down south and east who got some accumulation, going to be a record for some of you

But looks good for 2" for the GSO area which is nice.

I am in Knightdale and feel your pain. I thought eastern part of wake was on heavier side of snow but durham and western wake already have snow. Confuses me
