So, my wind direction is now out of the SE now and I rose from 31 to 32 at ATL airport. I just checked surrounding cities around me and Union City is 33, Palametto 34, Fayetteville 33 and Riverdale 32! Never been so excited in my life!

Heavy freezing drizzle under no returns. Then moderate sleet and ZR under the returns back to the west. 925’s are warming tho. I’m only at -3 now. Still sitting at 17. Likely going to end up close to that 0.5” of potential ZR at this rate

Sure is still coming down off and on at a decent rate, despite puny radar currently. Sitting at 30.0. Even if the squall doesn’t produce any more the wind ripping through what we have is still gonna cause some problems.
We (just north of Fayetteville, NC) are supposed to get to or just above freezing later but still at 25, haven't risen even one degree so far today.
It doesn’t seem like it’s doing anything out there, but when you go out it’s actually pixie dusting.

Just took a 2.5 mi walk in Durham and was all sleet and wonderful, crisp air. Lines look fine. Kids are out sledding the ice pack on the streets.
A little freezing drizzle and 29, there is some glazing on the trees. Looks like maybe .2

Unreal stuff here in CAE. It’s still 24.3° & very fine snow flakes are falling. A VERY light dusting is even showing up.
If you would have asked me 24 hours ago if it would be snowing at lunch time Sunday with this system here, I would have confidently said no. Unreal.

I know it's an old post but Ryan Maue posted this, wonder if it translates downstream to us. Nashville: "Nashville being hit hardest by power outages with freezing rain at 0.25"-0.33" per hour rates. Yikes! " PER HOUR RATES.

0z euro had my location getting to freezing at 11am...the 06z run it had it to 32 by noon. Currently 24.6 at 6 meters and 25.5 at 2 meters. Great job euro!
