3-4 hours of snow at any one location in Bama is about the most. 1-3 hours is most likely.
Nam and hrrr in good agreement for us in clt.

Nam trends today…
Upper level low was just barely a tick south this run but there’s a noticeable vort max under the ULL on the nam which probably is contributing to better CAA in WNC

Doubt we get accumulation but definitely think Spartanburg and Cherokee counties can get a couple hours of backside snow. Most models have had that look or it’s very borderline.

I'm not buying it until I see it but it just stalls over Central N GA with a heavy band for a couple hours.
Wow best run for me yet...getting close to the inch of accumulation line.
Good trends today. I just need about 45 miles here so I am watching this closely.

I want to see the NAM 3km thermals...if there's one thing NAM does well at, it's the thermals and how quick the cold can rush in. That to me is more important than the actual radar depiction.
Man just praying it holds together as it crawls east
