One of those images is lying to us
Not the snow total
Probably some front end snow that’s a few hours in duration Vs the rain that has a longer duration so the 6hr is gonna pick up on the dominant ptype
Been saying it for a while, late jan warm up like many other ninos then +PNA is coming. No stopping it. MJO coming our way into the pac and eventually whem, +EAMT, and a strong but weakening Nino in February

I'm just happy it shows a storm. Its been essentially dry around this oeriod i think. Cold is certainly around at that time and better than ok H5. Hopefully we get a decent hit on the EPS.

Looking forward to any snow that does fall Being in the teens and low 20s. Temps might not get above freezing after tomorrow for possibly 10 or more days.
