Tropical Hurricane Nate

For this storm to be so fast, sure is taking forever to get here LOl

Well Mike on TWC almost got took out by a beach chair that blew right over his head in Biloxi. Damn. Winds have picked up substantially at his location.

That looked a little fishy to say the least.

...HURRICANE NATE MAKES LANDFALL NEAR BILOXI MISSISSIPPI...

National Weather Service radar data and surface observations
indicate that Hurricane Nate has made landfall near Biloxi,
Mississippi, around 1230 AM CDT with maximum winds of 85 mph (140
km/h).

Beginning to get some decent gust here on the hill this morning. Just had a 24mph gust sustained is less than 10mph atm though.

Probably going to be interesting day here with 30mph sustained, gust to 50mph, tornado threat and appear to be setup in the heavy precip band as well.

Well it figures the way this season has gone, that Nate s eye basicly passed over Kessler AFB , so maybe just step outside for the "recon"..lol

The future radar shows some nasty storms coming through NGA and WSC around 4-5pm, got to watch for those isolated tornados, being in the NE quadrant

Well seeing some of the "cells" in the leading edge in West Central Ga begingging to really fire up some

I’ll be honest, the inland impacts have sort of busted compared to what it looked like yesterday.
Tree power damage from mobile to west of Montgomery so far. Not sure I'd say it's busted . I think people thought this was going to be like Opal which was never the case
