I wonder about what the winds inland will be like given that the winds never got above 90mph before landfall. Could it underperform inland?

You Sure? Judging by radar he still looks offshore by ~30 miles

Well Mike on TWC almost got took out by a beach chair that blew right over his head in Biloxi. Damn. Winds have picked up substantially at his location.

Beginning to get some decent gust here on the hill this morning. Just had a 24mph gust sustained is less than 10mph atm though.
Probably going to be interesting day here with 30mph sustained, gust to 50mph, tornado threat and appear to be setup in the heavy precip band as well.

Well it figures the way this season has gone, that Nate s eye basicly passed over Kessler AFB , so maybe just step outside for the "recon"..lol
Y'all be safe today for sure.
The future radar shows some nasty storms coming through NGA and WSC around 4-5pm, got to watch for those isolated tornados, being in the NE quadrant

Tree power damage from mobile to west of Montgomery so far. Not sure I'd say it's busted . I think people thought this was going to be like Opal which was never the case
