With that forward speed, I bet the gusts on the right side of the storm were insane. I’m not sure how populated those areas are, but you got to believe they had to have had some gusts as high as 110mph+

With that forward speed, I bet the gusts on the right side of the storm were insane. I’m not sure how populated those areas are, but you got to believe they had to have had some gusts as high as 110mph+
Areas around Illoqqortoormiut are likely to see 80”+ of snow. Henry is slowing (still a hurricane) and will STALL as a blizzard.

Captured some Hurricane Larry swells at Acadia National Park in Maine last weekend.
Over head high at Sand Beach. That dot below the wave is a head btw.
Double over head at Thunder Hole. Rocks were vibrating under our feet well away from the platform, insane.

I think the base that most reports come from is located in Summit Camp. Not exactly sure though.
