Maybe a few of us who haven't seen much rain will finally get some with a track like this.
Yeah at the very least it looks like the wave will become named and end up in the SW ATL....the overall setup means this will have a pucker factor for the SE and be the first legit threat to the US for a major hit......intensity is something the models just sucks at but given the pattern there is no reason this thing wont beast mode at some point....
looks like it favors a recurveThe 12z GEFS was more impressive

Overall the 12z suite was a big step towards a recurve.
Pulling for a recurve buddy!!Just in time for my first ever trip to OBX....![]()
Drastic changes again with the energy over the Midwest.
I'm leaning that way, but this time of year, you just never know how long a ridge can hold on. Probably OTS or an OB scraper would be my guess.I still favor a miss. Everything was in the Bahamas this morning now it’s already 400 miles nw of there. Euro even took a step towards a recurve
Now up to 50/80.A broad area of low pressure associated with a tropical wave located
several hundred miles west-southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands is
producing a large area of cloudiness and disorganized showers and
thunderstorms. Environmental conditions appear conducive for
development, and a tropical depression is likely to form early next
week while the wave moves westward at around 15 mph across the
tropical Atlantic.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...50 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...high...80 percent.

Its 10 days out. Anything is possible and we will just need to wait atleast 5 days before we even start seeing the real players on the field.
I actually favor too far east. 2nd half of summer mid lat ridges winI'm leaning that way, but this time of year, you just never know how long a ridge can hold on. Probably OTS or an OB scraper would be my guess.
