A hat tip to the ICON model which was the first to show both the evolution of Francine as well as the track into SE Louisiana. An honorable mention goes to the HWRF which had the storm going right over Lake Ponchartrain from 24 hours out. Both were spot on with intensity too.

Mike of spaghettimodels.com is back Live and is on the road, encountering trees in it. He drove over or around some but finally had to turn back. He said power lines were down, and that he drove over a couple.
