Why would there be more rain in GA than MS ? GA is going to be well east of the center.

From what I see most of eastern georgia and the Carolinas rain comes from the early week system/depression on Monday and Tuesday

I'm surprised they didn't upgrade N.O. to a hurricane warning given the movement and increased intensity. Dang NE eyewall consolidated at a bad time.

That last few years they have been strengthening up to landfall more often than not.
