It doesn't look odd to me. What I see is cold air plunging into the plains and then it will move south and overtake the southeast.

Well, on a brighter note, tonight’s failure of a storm, Tuesday’s dry frontal passage, could be saved by next Fri/Sat big rain event !!! CJ already showing models with 2-4” for my area, what could possibly go wrong??
but it does look like some low coming out of the gulf along with an incoming front, kind of like today’s flooding rains!

I am not sure how you can this a failure for the upstate. Clinton had .50 inch by 4pm today. It’s been pouring the last 3 hours.

Really fascinating day all around with the weather system. It felt chilly this morning but this evening it actually feels great with the windows open right now.
Here's my two cents on the pattern, if it's going to be a warm one, oh well. Unless it's anomalous stuff it's too late to get ridiculous. My peak on the run is 82. That's not out of the ordinary.
I'd like for there to be a cold pattern later, but right now...meh.
