Severe Heavy rain / flash flooding, 12/26/18-1/2/19

4.87" since Thursday evening... the ground is like a sponge. Walking the dogs earlier and every step squished water out of the ground. Hoping we don't get too much more over the next few days. I've surpassed a foot of rain so far this month,

I heard that squish walking on my basement rugs. It's a magical sound ?
