Misc General Banter Thread

If there's one thing these storms have taught me, 24 hours is a long time in modeling these days.

I feel like back then, if you still had all models showing snow 24-48 hours out, you were good to go. Now even that's no longer a guarantee. Trends have been good for my backyard, but I still don't really feel that good.

I'm sorry I can't take anyone with Chapel Hill in their name seriously

This just not be our year for winter weather snow wise here in parts of extreme north alabama. It’s amazing how we can get all this cold weather but can’t get a snowstorm once again we missed out for the third time i swear this hobby is getting more difficult

Yeah I thought moving to Plevna would pay off. Wrong

Is weatherbell that much more > pivotal for an extra $20 a month? I’m sure there is more traffic but pivotal been slow as heck with the frames the past two days.

The thing is there isnt one of these websites that does everything the best. I prefer pivotals soundings, wxbells graphics and SVs speed.

It absolutely sucks to waste all of this good cold weather and get nothing.

Spent a week tracking a dryslot for Raleigh...not sure whats worse...spending a week tracking a cold rain or a dryslot..🤔

My posts from here on out will be relegated to the banter thread...this will be a great event for many to our south/east/west of Raleigh.

You must be looking for a mauler! Like I stated before anything will satisfy me at this point. Been way too long.

Everything will settle out on the weathernext footprint thats held pretty steady for the last 5 days.
Yeah, but those low resolution maps on the AI models aren't going to have the detail needed for this setup. I definitely don't think the precip on the NAM was right either. We'll keep riding this train and see where it takes us.
