Can we please not melt down when/if future runs aren't showing once per quarter to half century events for your backyard. Thanks

My expectations are now 15-20". I simply cannot be satisfied with 3-6" and I will melt down if I get that. If it ain't double digits, I don't want it!!!!!!

/s, I think?

Did I just see what I think I just saw in the late January thread ice wise on the Euro...

If so, then a hard, hard pass. Maybe if that signal actually verifies, it won't be so much ice.

I got chills throughout my body looking at the Euro Freezing rain map! Lights out and trees are down!
I have never seen a map that ominous for such a large area. Really hope it can at least be more sleet for most areas in the higher range of ice accumulation.

given there would be widespread destruction in the area of freezing rain, i wouldn't mind.

euro keeps it bone chilling cold throughout the period. has -5 to -10 below in nc with snow cover. what an all timer euro run.

Hope everyone in SC north of Columbia has really good generators. That's lights out of that verifies.

198u was a 50 year storm for parts of the upstate. I was 15 and had a helluva time for 2 weeks. Never seen any other storm close to it since. It's time for that cycle to start over..heavy snow to heavy sleet to heavy snow and sleet to end 48hrs later.
Absolutely crippled Oconee and Pickens county. We are much better prepared nowadays for something like that and i personally would love to see it again!
