Looking at my forecast the next 10 days, I'm seeing 6 nights where the overnight low is forecast to be at least 15 degrees above normal ! This is like Deja Vu from last week's warmth. I see 2 or 3 nights where the overnight low could be close to our average high !

I hate sitting here during the New Years bowl games tracking a freaking torch. It's supposed to be peak climo yet this is the position I seem to find myself in more often than not anymore. Or at least it seems that way

GFS handled the pattern for the next two weeks very well imo. Sure it hasn't happened yet but all the models are agreeing on no major cold or snow in the southeast for the next 2 weeks. Props to the GFS

Don’t really feel like we are tossing anything. Seems to be some decent trends towards what we would like so hopefully it continues that way

We’ve had like 6-7 days above normal for the month. Last 2 days here the high hasn’t gone above 33 until today.

Amazing. And yet somehow Nashville is running between 1-2 degrees Above Normal for the month. How do you have only 6-7 days above normal for an entire month and still finish the month Above Normal ?
