The southeast happened
We never had a solid cold air feed with this storm. Great lakes low ruined that need a HP up north .
Is there a bigger kick in the nuts that someone chiming in THE RAIN IS NEEDED!
That's how it has always been since I've joined weather forums. There's generally a very small faction who does it.
i know what you mean but i just checked the drought monitor and uhhhhh the southeast has more burnt orange than a texas home game

I really wouldn't be overly surprised if the Rufus verified tbh.
If there's moisture, the cold is going to have a tough time fully bleeding through to here.
And I'd say the low was 20 here tbh even though the Bush Field station clocked in at 15 and my car thermometer was as low as 17.

GFS has a little bit of rain to snow for NC down to GA.
Got like 2” of nothing but sleet in the Triad from that one.

To be fair, we’ve had like a trace of rain over the last 3-4 weeks. Some precip is needed in whatever form we can get it in. The lake levels are ugly.
No, it’s very much alive when we’re sitting in the sweet spot 48 hours out. Just not when it helps us.
