Well I wouldn’t say it got severe. Maybe 45-50mph gusts at best near Pickens

Seems like the storms right now are farther south than the tornado watch.
They'll be running into an destabilizing atmosphere soon. Patience.
Still hoping the mountains slow it some. It's definitely going to be a race. Also WRAL is concerned about strong cells popping up before the main band.

will there be a watch for the counties south of the VA border counties?
You've heard about it raining cats and dogs. The Triad to Triangle may have a raining kids and candy warning tonight.
This storm has my attention 
Is that the Laurens cell I just posted about? It looks like the bottom storms have more rotation right now.. but eh.. not liking the look of it approaching a larger population area.

Here comes fall. On the front porch about to welcome it with open arms in about 5 minutes
