From reports this morning, it looks like areas from Greensboro west / southwestward are getting freezing rain currently.

No ice IMBY or on my back deck, temp between 32 and 33 F. Don't want any part of an ice storm but some snow around Xmas would be nice.

Looks like its 26 degrees in Boone, 30-33 up top at the slopes. So Boone back east down to Wilkes is probably gonna be the prime location to see some build up this morning. Nothing suprising and as expected. Mtns should get a fast burst or two on the backside this afternoon.
