That's what the model is showing. But there's a high probability of a not cold and suppressed pattern, based on seasonal tendencies this far.

12z GFS keeps ATL in the 20s all day next Saturday (13th). Single digits Sunday morning.

As others have said....The 12z Doesn't work for most outside the Mid-South. However, the 12z run was a big improvement from the 6z run. EURO and EPS and GEFS will be telling.

Much better... the one thing I’ll say about these bouncy GFS op runs is that they tend to be following the biases that we’ve seen in this time frame for the last several months. If it follows those tendencies, we should be in good shape.

Hope the GEFS is better. At least the Euro still looks good. Would be nice for these two to get on the same page for once. They both were awesome a few days ago, and then you get inside 10 days and they go two different directions until one eventually folds to the other about 3 days out.
