Here's to hoping 2017-18 is much colder than this winter. 1879-80 was similarly warm to 2016-7 and was also a weak La Niña. Per Webber's table, 1880-1 was a weak El Niño like I also hope we have next winter. The winter of 1880-1 was 10 colder and ATL (as well as many others in the SE) had a major winter storm.

Lol yeah that's true. We never get surprised by snow, like in a positive way anymore. So sad!
