Wintry February 6th-7th

Pretty much most of the ~ 1/2" that fell melted already. Sure the clown maps were wrong mostly due to band positioning but we never changed to full rain during the entire event either. Was always sleet or snow and rate dependent. The HRRR def was closer to reality than the NAM.

Also keep in mind our snow season is a bit longer than most on here. Hopefully, we can get the one near V day to make up for those that got screwed with this one.

Very true, I believe if this big pattern comes to fruition that the south will get a good one and so will we. Should be fun.

Yes. Weather here is a lot more fun to track than down in Columbia SC where I'm from.

Around 3.5 inches here south of Asheville. Puts us at around 11 inches for the winter. Above average

2" here in NW pickens co upstate. Pretty nice storm to have been 50° 5hrs before it started. Dynamical storms are fun to watch.

Oh yeah. In setups like these it's normally iredell county and north that's the cut off line. I'm sure statesville area got a lot more
