yeah..i know but still pretty imoressiveEven if it does shift to include our area don’t expect any accumulations and temps look to be at or a little above freezing. Ground temps are also very warm as well

Sure would be nice if the southern wave would hang back and either create an overrunning event or either pop a slow moving low off the SE coast. Looks like the cold air is not going to be a problem on that run.
IDK. At least it looks like we're going to get some cold air to work with. Maybe something can pop up behind the sheared-out baja system that's unseeable at this range.
We buying that 10” lollipop @ Hawks Knob?
Give it like 3 more runs and maybe it'll start to show further SW and wrap around more.
The somewhat frustrating part is the northern stream like you said has bounced around like a ping pong ball but that southern wave has refused to budge. We need just a little more energy to eject east and let the northern push tilt the whole trough. As long as the trough stays positive tilt we aren't going to get much (if any) precip.Honestly we have pretty much seen the whole spectrum on outcomes on this storm from warm and flood to cold and shredded, except phased bomb. Maybe that is next.
That would be wild in Nashville. NWS doesn’t even have a flurry in the forecast less than 24 hours from start timeMore snow for AL and MS.
We can’t even sniff a flake for the past decade. ?
I could see some flakes from this ?another jump like that and western facing slopes in NC could pull a rabbit out of the hat
That backs gone give out shoveling all this super el nino snow. Enjoy it ! Send us picsThis is wild. I wasn’t even expecting flurries this morning.
