I’m sure the Mid Atlantic Crybabies are just beside themselves. Although it could show 8-12” up there and they’d barely track it. They complain if a storm isn’t 2-3’ while we’d just like to have a 3-6” event at this point. In all honesty that doesn’t look bad it wouldn’t take much to get that to CAD areas in NC Along and N/W of 85 and the 40 corridor

I agree that trailing wave is our best bet if this pattern holds. Last nights Euro was also close:
