Crazy precip variation in Upstate SC - how does that even happen?
Frank, this puts both of my other snow events to shame. Wind driven snow at times. Just no accums ?
Starting to get some accumulations on sidewalks and the road visby less than .25
I can confirm snow has reached the pines.

small wet flakes.... totals going to be weak sauce (wake county)... guessing Ratio probably 5:1 maybe

About to cross an inch on my ruler.
Webb do you anticipate some back building with this back edge of the snow and is that going to produce these heavy bands we’re watching out for?

Snowing pretty good here in Western Harnett County now. Wow! Everything turning white very quickly. How exciting! I teach 2nd grade and I’m so happy for my excited students.

Given the rates, the fact its already all snow a hr or two before modeled and the fact the models just hammer central and eastern NC from around 7/8pm to 3/4am I think maybe some of the bigger totals of 8-12" are doable in a few lucky spots....

GSP quickly covering their arse. All winter weather advisories were updated to say accumulations for “Trace to 2” in the piedmont. Note this read different before schools let out.

Really lightened up here. Hope to get those heavy rates this way.

It's a bit lighter now. A bit like exhaust snow, as northerners would call it on AmWx forums.
Yeah definitely lighter here. Hope it picks back up later. Flakes are definitely smaller.
