An like that, I am over. Don't know how I did it before dual pole radar. 100% SN, no IP, nickle size. I think we are in good shape as long as we don't mix later on like some of the guidance is indicating.

The band is setting up right over me. Already getting close to an inch here. This is a paste snow that'll stick to everything so the scene should be gorgeous tomorrow 
Yeah it's nowcast and ongoing but have you posted the latest HRRR? Seeing what we can squeeze out of this heavy band.

Back edge is nearing Yancey Co and the latest HRRR moves it east of the Triad by 8pm. We might eek out 1" if we're lucky. Rates have definitely slowed. Flakes are small and not as numerous as before.

Some seriously heavy rates now, grass turning white!
Just got home from grabbing some food. Probably 0.25-0.5" so far, a nice coating. The roads are mostly okay, but are starting to get a little slushy in spots.
Heavy increase in winds out of the N/NE in the last 5 minutes

SPC said we should see rates of an inch per hour by 6 to 7.
Total Storm Event: 2-4” in areas of the mountain counties to half inch to 2” in the foothills. Lowest totals closer to i77 particularly Iredell I noticed up to Yadkin County areas.
