It's coming. The transition was fast here. It's been all snow for about 20 mins or so.

How many more hours do we have of this in the Charlotte area? I know a few short range models were predicting some lingering moisture.

No more small flakes, big wet fatties
stuck to the deck for a while. Temps should crash on the backside later as the coastal takes over. I expect a dusting to an inch later. Very pretty wet snow for most of the afternoon but not sticking. Par for the course this month

For the Statesville region, the back edge is around Asheville NC now so only expect the current rates. Anything that looks heavy is just melting on radar and the transfer should keep the heavy stuff East of Iredell. I wouldn’t expect more than an half inch additional there.
You guys might luck out if the cold catches the moisture on the way out. Which I think it will. It’s a very potent airmass

Congrats Carolina folks!! This winter aint been to bad for the SE after all!
Over the past 10-15 minutes, been noticing some banding beginning to get going , perhaps the beginning of the death band ? 
This escalated quickly ??
